kBT is a 250-node IBM quads computing cluster located at the MCS division at Argonne National Laboratory, used by the members of the Roux Lab at the University of Chicago and collaborators in support of research into understanding of the structure and dynamics of biomolecules.

CPUs Each node has 2 dual-core AMD Opteron 275 processors
Interconnect All nodes have gigabit Ethernet
Nodes n001-n032 are connected by Myrinet 10G
Memory 4GB per node (1GB per core)
Storage 16TB shared high-speed SAN storage
